Research Analyst - Healthcare

Mobius Analytics is currently recruiting for a Research Analyst focusing on Healthcare.  The position is located in Ottawa. 

Our Research Analysts assist with all aspects of research projects with a primary focus on data collection and analysis.  Applicants will be expected to help develop data collection procedures; prepare computer assisted interview specifications and test survey systems; prepare training materials and deliver interviewer training programs; prepare quantitative reports to help monitor data collection productivity and quality; and conduct ad hoc data analyses using SAS and/or SPSS with ability to summarize information into tables, graphs, and text. The applicant may also serve as the liaison to the Data Collection staff (telephone-based and in-person) and the Survey Centre and/or the information technology project staff.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will posses:

• Bachelor's degree in the social sciences or related field (Master's degree preferred)
• minimum of 2 years of experience in a social science research environment (including internships or co-op terms)
• interest in health related research and/or surveys
• experience with quantitative analysis using SAS or SPSS
• aptitude with office productivity applications
• strong customer focus
• highly developed verbal and written communication skills
• strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task
• exceptionally high attention to detail
